Reflection-2/4/19

Today is the 4th day of February, 2019. It’s another wonderfully marvelous day in Denver, Co for my wife and I. We moved to Colorado two years ago, looking to start a new life. We have made lots of new memories along the way. We’ve overcome a lot of obstacles and we have faced everything life has thrown at us. Now I know that moving to Colorado was the best thing for both of us.

Colorado has given me a new way of seeing things. I spend more time in nature then I would when I lived in Georgia. Knowing fewer people and being away from the wrong types of people has been advantageous. Talking to people who were raised in a different state has taught me things I wouldn’t have known about otherwise.

Over the last two years that we have to live here, we’ve experienced both good and bad situations. When we first arrived, we slept in our car for 7 months straight. There were always people who were willing to help us and Colorado has excellent homeless resources. Even when things were bad, we never thought of turning back. Now things are looking up for us. We now bring home over twice what we were before the move. Our quality of life is better and we love our days.

Time keeps moving forward. Like most people, we try our best to make good discussions and make the most out of the time we have in life. Furthermore, we understand that the choices we make will also affect our family. Moving to Colorado to us was of great benefit.

Every day I wake up to makes me happy. Waking up to a beautiful sunrises, viewing the skylines of mountains on every trip, and seeing all the different species of wildlife. There are many places to go and many things to see. My wife and I love living here.
