Love Explained

Love is one of the most complicated and misunderstood emotion that humans experience. The emotion that many can relate to, but few can explain. As a teenager, I once wrote an article for my school newspaper, which compared and contrasted love to having a sickness. A bit wiser at twenty-eight, then I was at fourteen, I’ve decided to re-explore the subject. In this post I will attempt to answer the question, what is love?

My main argument at fourteen, was the fact that people have been said to have died from a broken heart, some doctors use this explanation as an actual cause of death. Love it’s self is a lot more complex then the ache of losing love killing a person. Love starts in the brain with many chemical processes occurring in the minds of both people in love. What is love

If you asked 1,000 people, what love is to them. Most people would explain how love feels and that’s all most people know about it. They will also know that they love to be in love. Everyone’s in love with the idea of being in love. The feelings of joy, happiness, excitement, and bliss quickly overwhelming the person feeling them. The only problem is when love is lost, these same feelings can turn into pain, hurt, depression, embarrassment, and regret.

Committing to a loved one is not just a physical process, it is also a mental process. Those whom are in love, have general expectations from one another, a mutual perception of their relationship and shared passionate memories of one another. Couples set boundaries based on the dynamics of the relationship. Love is a give and take kind of action. The key is to give more then you take.

  • The Science Of Love

Whether you see love as just feelings, or you see it as being a more scientific process, love is still this elusively mystical thing that we will always have more questions about. Hopefully this post answered a lot of your questions, but if you have more, or something to add, feel free to leave a comment or send a message. Thanks for taking the time to read this post.
